Exhale/Inhale: Our Stories Our Voices

A collaboration between both Across Boundaries and Adornment Stories, Exhale/Inhale is the little cousin of Across Boundaries’ feel good programming for BIPOC 2LGBTQ+ community called Inhale/Exhale that exclusively caters to Black 2SLGBTQ+ community in Canada. Exhale/Inhale is a weekly virtual program focused on sharing knowledge around wellness, mindfulness, and Black LGBTQ+ mental health. We fuse movement, dance and storytelling to unpack themes of intersectionality, and the cultural nuances of living, loving and thriving on the margins.

our platforms

Instagram Live – hosted by Black 2SLGBTQ+ educators and artists in our community, this platform will be hosted on Adornment Stories’ instagram. Our facilitators will discuss wellness topics and host movement sessions from their homes and engage with a wide audience through Live and recordings.

Zoom – A private, intimate setting for exclusively Black 2SGBTQ+ folks, also hosted by Black 2SLGBTQ+ facilitators in community that requires registration. This is to ensure the need for support persons are available and the community feels safe in discussing topics amongst each other.
